FLEMINGTON VILLAGE is a planned unit development located in Liberty County, GA that includes acreage in the towns of Hinesville and Flemington. Liberty County, GA is a coastal county just south of Savannah, GA. Hinesville and Flemington are two of its key towns. Liberty County also is home to Fort Stewart.
Liberty County has a rich heritage dating back to the Georgia’s first port, located just east of one the early coastal communities, Midway, GA. Liberty County was created in 1777 from the colonial parishes of St. Andrews, St. James, and St. John. The land that made up these parishes was originally held by the Creek Indians. The county's name honors Lyman Hall and Button Gwinnett of Midway, who were Georgia's first delegates to the Continental Congress and signers of the Declaration of Independence.
The Liberty County Economic Board in conjunction with the Coastal Regional Commission of Georgia are making great strides in attracting new industry into the area.
Flemington Village is easily accessible to Savannah, GA or Brunswick, GA and provides a premier natural setting for homes and small businesses.
